1.What is Stone Age?

A prehistoric period when weapons and tools were made of stones or of organic materials such as bone wood or horn.

He was a Nomad who wandered from place to place in search of food.

He did not know how to produce food.

He survived by hunting wild animals and birds, fishing and gathering wild plants

Hence he is called hunter gatherer.

2. Define Neolithic age.

Neolithic is also called the New stone age final stage of cultural evolution or technical development among prehistoric humans.

In this period the development of agriculture and making of polished stone implements.

He moved into a larger settlement, cultivated fields, grew crops and lived a settled life.

The most remarkable invention of Neolithic man was the wheel. It helped to improve transport.

3. In which age Stone and copper were used?

At the end of new stone age copper was invented.

In this both stone and copper were used.

Along with the use of copper and stone these people also used low grade bronze to make tools and weapons.

Copper was first used by man over 10,000 years ago.

This period was called Chalcolithic Age
